Family Keepsakes

I think I've figured out how to articulate the way I see myself as a photographer. I want to be the local country doctor of photographers. I want to take care of friends, neighbors, friends of friends and family. I want to take photos of babies, then take the senior pics of those same babies. You know? I'm sure it sounds crazy to some, but to me, it sounds just right.

I love this family and the fact that they look forward to a photoshoot with me instead of seeing it as a horrible chore. That means so much to me in terms of professional success. It really does.

This is a family farm, so the location and this tractor were important to capture.

And the old springhouse.

I couldn't resist going full-bore shooting into the sun. So pretty and dreamy.
